We couldn't do it without your help.
In recent years we have made great strides in preserving the
Road Runner's Retreat.
Currently we are working towards sign restoration and preservation. It is no easy task as the sign is so large. We have divided the project into 4 major phases and are hoping to have the sign completed by the Route 66 Centennial.

This years phase will concentrate on paint preparation and paint. If you would like to contribute monetarily we ask that you make those contributions through our PayPal link. All funds contributed will go towards the matching funds required to comply with the NPS matching grant we have been awarded.

We also hold a work party every year to clean up and do some maintenance onsite as well as trash removal up and down the Route from Amboy to Chambless.

This past years work party was held on Saturday October the 21st 2023, from 8:00am to 5:00pm. So much progress has been made over the last 6 years that the property is almost unrecognizable. Thank you so much to all who attended. We were so lucky to have such a dedicated crew
